Generate Report – Customer Ledger Report
The Customer Ledger Report provides a detailed overview of each customer's financial transactions, offering valuable insights into account balances, payment history, and transaction details for effective customer management.
1. Access the Report Section:
- Navigate to the
Reportssection of your dashboard. - Select
Generate Reportfrom the list of available reports.
2. Define the Report Parameters:
- Category: Ensure that
Customeris selected as the category. - Report: Choose
Customer Ledgerfrom the report options. - Report Description: This report gives a complete view of each customer's financial transactions. It covers important information like account balances, types, dates, amounts, and payment methods used by selected customers.
3. Set Date and Time Range:
- In the
Start DateandEnd Datefields, specify the date range for the report. - Optionally, set specific times using the
Start TimeandEnd Timefields. - You may also use present options such as
Today,Yesterday,This Week,Last Week,This Month,Last Month,This Year, orLast Yearfor convenience. - For a complete dataset, click
All.
4. Select Customer:
From the Customer dropdown, select the specific customer whose ledger you want to view. This step is required; the report cannot be generated without choosing a customer.
5. Generate the Report:
- After completing all selections, click the
Submitbutton.
Report Contents
The Customer Ledger Report includes the following details: - Date - Type - Invoice - ID - Check No - Paid By - Amount - Account Balance
Export and Print Options:
- Use the
Exportbutton to download the report in Excel format. - Click the
Printbutton for a hard copy of the report. - Adjust visible columns to tailor the report display using the
Columnsbutton. - Use the
Email Previewoption to review the report before sending it directly to the customer or other stakeholders. - Clicking
Emailopens a pop-up box to input email addresses (comma-separated if multiple). The report can then be emailed to the entered addresses directly from the system.
